Feather and down Processing is traditional industry in Xintang. Over 200 years ago, the mid of Qing Dynasty, feather processing workshop in Xintang was present.
Since then,people in Xitang cry out for customers to collecting feather along the street, which have been passed on for years. Annually, at the end of the lunar year, about 70% labor here would go out to collecting feathers, ignoring go home to enjoy the Spring Festival. With the feather industry continuously development, the specialized feather firm began in the Middle and Later Periods of the Qing Dynasty, such as ‘MaoYuXin’, ‘WangHeXing’, and ‘ZhouSongDa’, which is also the earliest enterprise form in China.
